How to Install
Bracket location Your pleated shade may be installed either inside the window frame or outside of the window frame. Two (2) mounting brackets should be placed approximately 3 inches from each end of the headrail. For wider shades that require 3 or 4 brackets, space them evenly between the two outermost brackets.

Outside Mount

Clip brackets onto the headrail and lock in place. Hold shade level at the height desired and center it over the window. Pencil mark the exact location of the brackets. Remember that there must be a bracket three inches from each end of the headrail (see figure 1). Remove the brackets from the headrail and position the top of each bracket at the marked location. Screw bracket into the wall or window molding (see figure 2).

Inside Mount

Clip brackets onto the headrail and lock in place. Hold shade in place and make a pencil mark at the rear of each bracket where it contacts the inside of the window frame. Remove the bracket from the headrail and align them with the marks. Use the screws to attach the brackets to the window frame. Remember that there must be a bracket three inches from each end of the headrail (see figures 1 & 3).

How to Operate

1. To raise and lower the pleated shade, pull right drawstring to the left (up and down) to adjust the length. Then move drawstring to the right to lock. 2. To lower the pleated shade from the top, pull left drawstring to the right (up and down) to the desired length. Then move drawstring to the left to lock.

Cord safety

Mount one cleat on either side of the window at a convenient height to allow for cords to be wrapped and secured as shown above.

Hold-down Brackets

Mount a bracket on either side of the window sill or wall as shown. When shade is fully lowered the tabs on the brackets can be inserted into the slots on either end of the bottom rail.

How to Clean
The vinly headrail and bottom rail can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a feather duster for the shade fabric or use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
