Mount supports using four large wood screws.  (A) In the window frame (b) On the window frame (C) Hanging 2. Assemble operating mechanism and headrod hanger on supports. Cord may be attatched optionally on the left or on the right.  (A) With mounting in window casing, or suspended. (B) With mounting on window casing. (C) Secure cord hold-down bracket to window frame as shown using large wood screw. 3. A. Slide hex slot on shade over hex peg on operating mechanism.  B. Snap round pin into headrod hanger. How to Operate Once the shade has been installed according to the instructions provided, the shade may be raised or lowered simply by drawing down on the cord of the operating mechanism to the desired height. How to Clean Periodic dusting is suggested. Use your vacuum cleaner brush attachment to vacuum clean. Shade may be wiped clean using a damp cloth. Valance Use with a 1/2" rod. Cleaning the valance: Machine wash, cold water, gentle cycle, only non-chlorine bleach when needed, tumble dry, low heat, worm iron on reverse side if necessary |
